I need your help folks. I have a strange vibration/clunk when driving. It only seems to be happening when I'm going down the road under 60mph and just maintaining speed. I felt it the worst today going about 40. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help. Only 10K miles on the truck and it's been going on for a while.

I found a loose shock in the right front of mine truck. Had been that way. Dealer couldn't find it. The bottom bracket of shock was never bolt in. Just wedge in good enought to make it tough to find. It gave a clunking usally heard at the lower speeds and road with pot holds with the right front window opened:eek:

Mine has always done that with the cheap, stock Dodge shock bolts. I replaced them all with 9/16" X 3-1/2" (or 4") fine thread bolts that are NOT threaded on the part that goes through the shock bushing. The Dodge bolts are threaded all the way to the head, and the threads wear flat where they contact the shock bushing over time, and if not tight enough. Flag nuts? ... ... you don't need them.
