For some reason my truck seems to be running stronger lately, and I really can't explain it. I haven't done anything to the engine since having the pump tuned. Boost, EGTs, fuel pressure, oil pressure... everything is right where it's always been, but the engine definitely definitely has more go at all RPM. Any ideas? The only thing that comes to mind and it's a stretch is that I switched to Schaeffer Supreme 9000 sythetic oil 4k miles ago and it has a healthy dose of moly in it. Moly is supposed to help a little with compression by filling in microscopic voids in the cyclinder walls, but I'd never expect it to be enough to actually feel - especially since my engine doesn't use oil or create much blowby.
