I went through 2 LP's to get one that gives steady pressure. I wouldnt have believed it unless I saw it.

This may sound stupid, but what type of gage are you running.

I use a mechanical gauge with an isolator so that's not it. With the last pump I put on it has settled down to 10 lbs. at idle and 8 lbs. under load, a bit lower than I like but not terminal. I might just get the Geno's relocation kit and run one of my 4 spare slightly used pumps in series, that should get the pressure up and provide a bit of redundancy for good measure.
