Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Very strange noise started for me today on my 06. when i hit 55, not 54 or 53, but 55 i would get a strange whisle like sound, the faster i went the pitch would stay the same. i was a tosty warm 8 degrees this morning when i was driving to work. any ideas?
plus, the wife decided not to place her white chocolate mocca in the cup holder but set it on the center arm rest... ... ... so when i stopped kinda hard of course it flew down in to the cup holder and exploded!
soooo when i went to remove the black plastic cup holder insert, imagine my shock and suprise that when you take that out, the liquid (what ever it may be) goes down nice little drain holes in to the center console!!! what a moronic design. i thought the insert has no holes in it, my bad. it does. then when you take it out the retaining pins that "hold the insert in" make drain holes. !!!!!!!!! sigh. no i have to take that counsole out when it gets warm outside and clean it! gurrrr#@$%!
