i have a strange problem with my truck. if the truck is cold it wont do it. when the truck is warm it wont idle right. when i get off the highway and am almost stopped my truck will start bucking and shaking. the truck will also idle rough in neutral. if i raise my rpms to 1000 it stops and idles smooth as glass. this happened after i put in l/c dv's. my idle in gear with the a/c on is 830 rpms. it really sucked when i got into a traffic jam on the highway the other day. everytime i went below 1000 rpm the truck started the idle problem. what could this be? i have already took all the dv's out and looked at them. could this be a governer spring problem? if so should i tighten them or loosen them? help me please. thanks

im having the same problem but mine will die, people say fuel pressure or return lines im not sure but i have to figure it out also

If this happened as you said , after instalhing dvs then I would guess that something happened to the injector lines crack , lose ? After the eng. warms up spray starter fluid around injector lines and if the eng. speed changes then you found the problum. also I do'nt know if you removed any intake manifold stuff but if your sucking air there [gasget what have you] some where it seems you sucking air or loosing fuel presure.

my fuel pressure at idle is 42psi. i have a gauge so i know thats not the problem. i have looked for air leaks and didnt have any or not that i found. my truck will go up to 3300 rpms in neutral. thats why im thinking govener springs. does anyone else think govener spring are the problem?
