Strange shifting behavior between 1 st and 2 nd gear - Automatic

I use my truck mainly (80% of the time) to pull a 5th wheel weigthing around 9. 5K (loaded).



Lately when I'm pulling the trailer if I start gently (ie: around 2000 RPM) the transmission is king of hesitating in shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. When it finally shift it is kind of harsh. .



If I push on the gas at a minimum of 2300 RPM it shift better.



My truck is about 20K miles and was shifting fine before. Is there any adjustnments ? Is this a potential problem with the transmission ?

your front band needs to be adjusted . do it , along with a fluid and filter change soon .
