Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Strange shutdown

On my way to work this morning running down the highway@ 70MPH my truck momentarily shutdown. It was more than a miss-it felt like the engine shut completely down for a split second and then returned to full power as suddenly as it went away. Engine was fully warmed up and fuel pressure was at 12 psi as normal. Bone stock engine. No codes. It did this once before several months ago (or about 20,000 miles ago). Any ideas?

Mine was and sometimes still does that and every time I have the good ol P0500 Vehicle speed sensor momentary loss thang going on. Picture going along and someone reaches over and shuts off the key for a few secconds and turns it back on again.





Then the new breed of shutdown started in and I found that after cleaning the grounds and terminals she not only ran better but I never had a hint of a reocurance.
