Hey guys, I've posted on this in the past w/ a few responses on some things to check but its still there.

With the truck running (moving or not) I have a vibration that comes through the fuel pedal and clutch pedal (w/ clutch disengaged). This vibration amplifies itself when moving under heavy load to the dash and entire cab.

The motor also gets very loud and doesn't run very smooth in the upper rpm range.

I believe it has to be something in the cummins b/c the fuel pedal has a vibration at a stand still and gets worse when running the rpms up w/ not moving also. Can a dirty/clogged injector cause this? Reason being, I have a slight irradic idle about 900-1000 rpms.

I have a 97 club cab 5sp 4X4 w/ a #11 plate, the truck has 143,00 on the clock.

Any suggestions? Some help would be appreciated guys, its driving me nuts.

Thanks

Surely someone can give some more suggestions on what is going on, heh? I'm pretty much out of ideas, so hopefully someone can throw out some suggestions.

Thanks

Sure sounds like a bad injector. Your idle is a bit high. Mine idles right at 750 or so. You could try and loosen the injectors one by one and see if you can find the bad one. Is the motor shaking at idle?

Todd, my idle is at 750, but when I just touch the accelerator, the "idle" becomes rough. But yes the motor does have a slight shake to it at idle (750rpm). I'll try loosening the lines

Thanks
