Competition Whooped up on a Chevy Gasser today!

Off Roading Nice wheeling this weekend

I need some help on street racing. Most of the time I'm having trouble getting traction. 4wd spins at first but slows me down to much at the top end. Tires are 235/85 Daytona Stags. 3. 07 rearend and no OD. I was ****** last night when I couldn't beat my exgf's new bf's dodge v8, chiped, supercharger. He never got more than 10' ahead of me though. I felt like I was going to get thrown in the passenger seat. I'm thinking bigger tires are going to be my best bet, what do you all think? thanks, alonzo

As you can tell by the NON-responses, we don't condone street racing .

Call Piers and ask for 60 lbs boost.

Yes it would!!!! I love street racing!

especially when they are on my passenger side, and I let 'er rip!!! 102Db of Diesel power going in their little rice powered wannabe car. LOUD and PROUD! let me take on that gasser 'chipped' truck! I will take his @ss, and hand it to him at the end of the race! Call piers and tell him you want something for that old mule! I miss my 91! That truck would ***** and get! my 98 really gets it on! Thanks Piers, Peter, and Blumenthal!

I've been talking to Piers about an HX40, and few other things. I'll give you and otte a shot when I get home in May. We'll see if I'm learning anything. alonzo

Breakin the law! Breakin the law!

hhmmm... . seems to me somebody who posted above got a TICKET for doing that very thing... ... ... ... . :D

Out laws!

Injectors

You can pick up a quick 30 hp with an injector change. Even more if you go with the Lucas injectors. Other then that I'd slide a bottle in the back seat and run a single shot of Nos for a lil assist.

BTW, can't you pull that thing into 2H after your rolling?

Already running the lucas injectors. Nos and my driving style probally won't mix to well. It would be interesting for a while though. It might be possible to shift out of 4wd, but its a pain in the *** to do normally. alonzo

Propane?

Give some thought to a propane system. It's sweet as long as you don't use cheap componenets or try to over do it. You can easily pick up 75 horsepower reliably. I used to run 110 rwhp with my system.

Street racing is fun and can be very expencive hear in FL if you get caught

It appears that Sled Puller is also a Judas Priest fan. :D

this sounds like a controversial issue, but most racing does happen on streets, usually back roads and late at night. Just don't try racing a cop, I think he was playing with me so i let him win. What will propane do to egt? I've already maxed out 1800, cuz I didn't want to let a Cobra get me. Propane with a PDR HX40?

Propane

Propane won't increase your egt. Might even decrease it. Propane burns very quickly and helps to process the diesel in the combustion chamber. That's where the power comes from.

I would like to say I am against street racing but I would be a hipocrit concidering I raced my buddy's honda accord last night and FREAKING SMOKED HIM... . yes his car is completely stock, but as far as that goes so is mine for the most part, afc turned foward, and straight piped stacks, and k&N filter. SO I WOULD CONCIDER that stock. So dont take away my jubilation I was happy as ***** about it. . It allowed me to gloat ALL night at the bar.
