Well I raced a silver Acura NSX. . again. We fooled around and finally got a red light. I slipped it in 4wd and off we went. I got a crappy launch as I heard his tires chirping. He pulled about 2 car lengths and that was it. We stopped at about a 100mph. Then he pulls into this parking lot and I go a little further to another entrance into the same parking lot. Then all I see is blue lights right behind him, so I am outta there. Did a 180, hit the curb, and pulled out in front of traffic... but I was gone. Then I hit some back roads and of course went to the Waffle House in another county. A little later a couple of my buddies call me a tell me they see a silver acura loaded up on a rollback. I was like oh gawd, time to get home. Well, that is it for my street racing. They can't put a warrant out for me can they? Hopefully the smoke screen will be enough. My dang stacks are a little noticable though.

Hopefully the cop was a Cummins fan. :D I think the only thing they could do would be personally deliver a ticket to your house if they got your tag number. At least that was from my experience. :D From the sounds of it your truck probably stands out on the street. So I would be careful the police might be looking for it.

Lets just say that today I have to go take a Drivers Safety Course to get my ticket lowered to Neglegent 2 after my last street racing ordeal!

Cumminfast Great story;)

I was headed to work the other day in the afternoon, cruising at 70 in the right lane when some SWB black gasser comes up beside me and pacing me, you know lowered, tinted with a flowmaster under the truck. So he jumps ahead then slows back, so I so the same, then I hear him hit passing gear so I lay down on it, scan over boost is at 60, EGT's are on the sweep and I go past him like he's sitting still, look down and I'm at 100 so I slow down and take my exit then come to a light were he is beside me turning so I take off and half way thought the intersection I lay on it and fill the road with smoke... . just too much fun!

Yeah, but did it keep you from going head-to-head with me a couple weeks ago? Next time we match, I may take ya... :D

Oh, and BTW 'Freak, I have wheels and a skirt, how much trouble could I cause... ? Don't answer that!

Ronda and Cliff.

I like to race alittle. ;) Want to go again. :D Remember I only have a little ve44 rotory pump, so you will have to take it easy on me. :p haha

I found out today the guy went to jail and got his car impounded to ATL supposedly(90 miles away). Sucks for that guy!! I think I am only gonna seriously drag in secure locations if you know what I mean.

No place is secure except the strip. :D That's why I don't bring my car out very often. Too many kids want to race. I know I can take most street cars in this area, but it is just hard to walk away from the challenge. :D

Especially when they are with their girl friends. :p

Mark, you are my nemesis!!  I think I'll live if I never line up against a first gen again! Although if I ever get this bad boy dialed in, we're definately going again (note here: now accepting sponsors, LOL! )! At least I can tell myself that I blew mine up trying to whoop you  ... I should get an "A" for effort! :D

Musta been that Canadian beer that gave me difficulties... :p

I race some idiot at least once a day... . they dont get the hint when I have DIESEL INNOVATIONS Stickers on my side windows, on the tailgate, and a 4" Jardine with a 5" tip... . That's ok. . They get a good old fashioned Smokin' with 110+ Db of noise, and if they can go past 115, they win. that's all Black Betty does. For the most part, its white collar guys (No offense to anyone) in their little 300 HP Duramaxes ::Yawn:: who think they have lots of power, and can take on the world by storm. Other times, its little rice rocket kids with their girlfriends, who get sooted, and come up wanting to do it again, after you leave a first tint of soot on their hood. Its all in fun times for me though. Been lucky. Most times I race is on the way to work at 6 AM, and police change shifts at 6 AM... Get the idea??? NO COP, NO STOP!!!

Ok, this reminds me of a street racing story of mine awhile back. I have a customer that USED to (note I say used to) give me a hard time about passing me with his powderpuff  Well, one morning I'm mindin' my own business on the commute to work, drinkin my coffee got some good tunes playin on the stereo when I look in my rearview and what do I see? There's a PSD about to come around me and it's my trash talkin customer. Needless to say, the cruise went off and the throttle went to the floor, poor guy never made it around. I wrapped her up to close to 100, enough to make my point and slowed back down, hit resume on the cruise, right when she settled back to 65 or 70, DPS cruiser tops the hill. *shew* The guy followed me to the store and was like, "DANG that'd be about right, first time since high school I race someone and I get stopped!" He asked me what I would have told the trooper had we been stopped and I told him I'd have said, "Officer, it's only a 6 cylinder diesel, it couldn't have been going that fast and certainly couldn't have been leaving that big v8 behind"

Well, i might not be my dad, but i being 17 and all have had my fair share of cops and street racing, i drive a 92 DODGE< oh yeah dakota w/ the 318 in it, this truck runs a 14. 68 in the 1/4, not bad for only having $700 in the motor and an extra 800 into a 95 L/S rear end.

anyway, one night my buddies and i were out racing @ the local Straight stretch. i was to race a 2002 honda civic and a FORD powerjoke. well, the civic was a peice of cake, turbo and all. the powwrstroke, NOT STOCK at all, was a work out for the ol' dak.

after we raced we went to the parking lot where we meet at and the cops showed up. i tore outta there like a banshee, 3 cops were on my butt and i got onto the freeway, i actually had that little dakota going past 125, that's as fast as the speedo goes anyway, i would say 130 or so, well, i got back into town and 3 more state boys were there, at the off ramp, i was screwed, they got me for 127 in a 70, i got it redused to a Careless and imprudent, a $267 ticket. ouch!! come to find out the kid that had the police scanner didn't have it pluged in, so we all got caught, i got the worse.

Kenny

PS i Finally Nailed the 6th gear Scratch in dad's one ton hehehe
