Annoying Posting "Nannies"

I think it would be cool if there was a way when I renew my

subscription to include a donation and that donation was

pooled with other members where TDR would submit the

collections to the "Honor Flight Program"

Now before you roll your eyes about the idea you gotta check

out what this federal nonprofit organization is doing for

our WWII vets, more on that here: Home [honorflight.org]

There are not many WWII vets left and then they will work on

The Korean & Vietnam vets.

I believe TDR could then take the total as a tax deduction

based on this page: Business Contributors [honorflight.org]

Your suggestion did not go unnoticed. I apologize for the delay in posting. I just took a few days off.

We get a lot of requests for projects similar to this one. And to be honest, we do think they are great ideas. But we just aren't large enough to address all of the projects TDR Members would like to see run.

Both the TDR and Geno's Garage are very supportive of groups that support current or retired military personnel. And it sounds like this one is excellent. As you are probably aware, Geno's Garage does a (modest) community service project each year, and many of the previous years' proceeds have gone to military support organizations. This year, they are going to support Armor4Troops again. I will forward your information to Geno's Garage. It may be a project they could plan for 2009.

Thank you, Mat400, for your support and for this ideas. No eyerolls here.

Just to be considered would be great. Last year approximately 1,200 WWarII Vets died every DAY. In another 5-10 years they suspect all of them will be gone.

The shirts Geno's Garage does are great and I have several of them, I think adding where the effort is going on the shirt would be a neat idea too!

Thanks Robin!
