Kick the milk out of his hands...

Maybe others didn't see it yet. Not everyone hangs out here like you do.

Well stupid me for listening to one women's comments and removing the picture. I got a few PM's requesting to see this so I'll repost.

Here is it for the ... . um ... 5th time! :D

That is still a bad truck either way, minus the camper. The first time it was here I said I wanted to get one of those and the poster sent me a link to this pic in a PM. Sorry I can't remember his name to give him credit. :( Mike

Edit: The link I got came from Fkovalski Thanks man.

Anyone know where that is located?

good ride for a wedding party!!

The dually limo belongs to S+S Limosine in Leroy,New York. He,s got a whole fleet of odd limos. I saw he had a Chevy 5500 stretch about a month ago.

To D McPherson want would make you make such a statement " Looks horribly unsafe" I hate to be mean but tht is moronic. Thare are longer Lincoln TownCar stretches out thare that have not ever had a problem. A 3500 Ram has the brakes and axles to handle way more payload than this stretch and passenger load will ever tax it. It is like the guy that says a long bed mega cab would be too much to handle. I your not man enough to handle a real truck drive a civic. Drive a 195" wb crew club cab every day and sometimes you may have to park a little further but if you know what you are doing you can go almost everwhare.

All kidding aside, I have yet to see one with the GM 4 wheel steering. It may be discontinued, but parts should still be available, and it was a four-grand option a couple years ago. That would help tremendously.

They DO look unsafe to me too. How does a vehicle with that long a wheelbase make turns? As far as axle capacities are concerned, I find it hard to believe that the stock axles capacities have not been exceeded. Just putting a big Lance camper on a stock truck exceeds the capacity!!

I hope you don't believe a Town Car stretched the same distance with 10 or 12 adults is safer!!! I don't know what the exact capacity of a Town Car's axle is but its probably safe to bet that it gets exceeded every time she gets loaded up to make a run down to Atlantic City!!!

The Dodge, on the other hand, has a higher capacity (with higher safety factor). As for overall length... ... I guess we should decommission commercial buses as they to have long wheelbases, can overturn easily and have high COGs. Damn... just look at school buses that carry our precious children! They have a very high center of gravity and can overturn much easier then most SUVs if driven in an unsafe manner.

I feel more comfortable with that driving down the road then some stretch Town Car maxed out with 12 adults. Sorry... call me crazy!!!

If they put that much work into adding frame and cab to the truck, I would think they do what is necessary to beef up the rear ends in those vehicles. Turning would be a problem, but as pointed out before, a school bus is not much different. I can say I wouldn't want to drive one of those around town (or pay for the fuel).
