Interesting read on increasing bank failures and the economy

Have I screwed myself by not letting the tension off my single-cam Hoyt? I haven't been shooting it for years. I don't want to try shooting it because I am afraid the string or bow itself may break.

Should I take it to a shop and have them look at it? Possibly get a new string and one of those string let-off tools to relieve tension?

Thanks

uh? tension off? take off the string? tension on the string????

sound like you have a PSE {pull, string, explode} hahahahaha

not sure what you mean... ...

if you have not shot it for as you say yrs, what is the condition of the string, did you keep it waxed? it would hurt to take it to a shop, have them look at it. .

i shoot hoyt ultra tec.....

Haha. Ok I heard it was recommended to take off the string to relieve tension on the limbs when not shooting for a while. String is waxed.

This is a Hoyt Raptor, Redline Single Cam

check, if you were going to store it for along while, yea i would recommend it, but that would include the bus cable too, and keep it waxed. been bow hunting for a handfull of yrs, i keep it waxed, and take it in every two yrs for string strech. just make sure you are comfortable with the guy working on it, alot of yahoos out there with a bow press...
