If I may reply to the the orginal question, Ranch Hand does make a 8 in. drop. I had the same ques. in order to preserve the factory hitch. I had a front end replacement installed today (actually yesterday now CST) at the "official RanchHand Store" in Dallas, TX (actually Irving,,TX -just south of Cowboy stadium). Union Bower Rd and Loop12. N. W. corner. They gave me a price guide which states $399. 00 for that bumper. There are no options available on the 8in drop model. So the 500. 00 mentioned elsewhere in this thread sounds high.

$55. 00 for installation.

OK, I get where you are coming from...

Here was the truth (at the time). When I got my bumper hit the OEM was listed at $575. The Ruenel with receiver was $540. No brainer right?

Now after I added the rings, the lights and the winch it was a bit more. ;)

I hope this helps.

Tell her you are actually saving money by buying hte aftermarket bumper with the receiver built in.

The factory bumper is around $600 with all the hangers and plastic junk you gotta buy with it.

The aftermarket bumper is around $500 fully loaded with the class 5 receiver hitch and skirts with the built in reverse lights.

Now you just saved $100 bucks on the bumper, and now you can take the receiver that is on the truck and sell it to anyone who has a Dodge truck for $50 or more.

Now your $150 ahead of the game. :)
