Truck would intermittently shudder and set injector codes along with ETC error msg. IF anyone else is having these issues, be aware there are some updates for the TS Performance Stryker Module that should alleviate it.
I shipped the module back to TS performance, when they made the corrections and sent it back to me, there was an added cable in the box with a rheostat on one end. No instructions in the box with the added cable. Sent a quick email to TS performance and their response is that it will allow for setting high limits for the module. Basically you can turn down the max output of the module. They also reccomended that when towing to turn it down to 2/3 when pulling hard....
TBH, if the module has this knob when I originally looked at it, theres no way I would ahve purchased it. Im NOT fixing to drill a stupid hole in my interior to mount this control. Not to mention, it was advertised as being up to 200 ft lbs and load based, in other words when you are pulling the hardest the module gives u the most increase. Now im being told that when I need the power the most, I can only have 2/3 of it!! REALLY?
I havent reinstalled the module yet, it very well may end up for sale....

Hmmm just set it at its highest level and up grade your foot...... I have Mine flash to 100% I will upgrade My foot, Its just a recommendation form TS. I also prefer not to have switchable module I want it at its highest level, I will gage the power with foot, If you want to drive your truck like nuts off a dog, build a race truck. Heeeeheee Wingate its a good module.

How many empty and loaded miles have you used it so far ?

Between both Trucks 20K loaded and 5-7K truck only. that's a good guest. I know some owners with 70-80K mixed loaded - truck only.

Todd, dont misunderstand me, I enjoy it being on the truck, but I dont like the idea that when towing, I sudedenly need to turn down power output. It was advertised and sold as 200 ft lbs and load demand. So when engien load was highest I would receive maximum from module. Now im being told to turn it down to 2/3 of maximum when I need it the most.
And im not really interested in drilling a hole in my dash to mount the rheostat. Had the Stryker advertised it needed a dimmer switch to function I dont know if I would have purchased it to begin with.
Did you ahve to send yours back for a software update due to misfiring and injector codes and do you have the rheostat harness installed?

No... You can run it at 100%, they added MORE power, I don't like drilling either, You do have option of zip tying it to the parking brake Cable and leaving it under the dash. I sent my Jan 14 Stryker module to update (June 14)and said make it hot, Well then that made my 100HP injectors drink fuel ( truck idles a lot) and added to the Active Regen cycle, So I pulled and changed the Injectors back to Stock, Sold the 100s to a customer who love's them (HP Nut).

No switch on mine.

According to the guy at TS Performance, they recommend turning the module down to approxomately 2/3 when towing. That was directly from TS Performance.

Also evic said service def soon see dealer. I ran it on 100% since October and never a bit of trouble turn it down and now setting codes

My truck has been regen'ing every 100ish miles with the stryker module on it, even after the TSB applied. I am going to send it back to TS and have them update it. I have run at 100% for everyday, then 2/3rds for towing.
Chris
Does everybody turn there's down when pulling or where do you set it. I keep mine on 100%
