Yes, I know there is a 56 page thread on this in another forum, but no where can I find if it works etc...Im mainly wanting it for towing and mpg...I lost over 4mpg with the level and tires and would like to get some of that back...I also plan on installing the S&B cold air intake later on...Has anyone installed the Stryker and seen an improvement in mpg?

A 1" tire change is big jump. Depending on usage and gearing that could take it out of the sweet spot, width differences will also effect the mpg, ambient weather will also cause a huge discrepency.

What tire did you from and to? Height and width?

Did you recalibrate speedo and verify with GPS on flat ground you speedo is now as close to correct as possible?

Are you comparing apples to apples with conditions? Mileage today in all but small areas of the country will be radically different from 4 months ago. You cannot compare August mpg January mpg with any validity.

Based on what you did tell us, essentially nothing, your calculations are probably invalid. Fill out truck details and post the rest of the info or anything we might tell you is just as invalid.

Well, I didn't really ask anything about what I did or didn't do to the truck...I asked if anyone has installed the Stryker Module and what results they got. I don't know why your getting into what was done on my truck as it has no bearing as to the thread and the question asked.

Oh, ok. While I know nothing about the Stryker I do know you won't get a valid answer if you are tyring to solve a non-existent problem. Nothing will address that.

Request for pertinent info withdrawn.

The Stryker does improve fuel mileage, but ONLY AFTER you get used to driving it with its MUCH increased throttle response and off-idle acceleration.

This is a perfect example why I hate Cummins forum. Its like the Craiglist of Dodge/Ram forums.

And this is a perfect example of why I hate asking a question in forums...You get replies that have NO bearing on the question you asked what so ever.

Way to shut down a pretty good resource right there.

We won't pester you with any more technical questions.............

Welp, why don't you pony up the money to buy the Stryker and report back with some useful information? Or you can continue to be a D-bag and get yourself banned and do us ALL a useful favor.

I really don't care if I get banned or not...I asked a simple question about if anyone had installed it, and what results they got sooo...I don't know why its so hard to stay on the topic of what was asked

OP, The Stryker is a legitimate add-on. If you came from a mildly tuned 5.9L 3rd gen like me, you were less than impressed with the 6.7L absence of throttle response and acceleration rate when passing.
The Stryker def improves on that. Truck drives more like my old 5.9, just without noise and smoke. Like I stated in previous post, the fuel mileage wasnt there after install, but was mainly due to my right foot and idiot factor. Now that ive had it for a while it seems to improve fuel mileage over 1 mpg but not quite 2.... thats just an average of my driving style over the past couple months.
The install went very quick, took longer to round up tools and beer than it did to install. I know of several others that have installed Stryker and love them as well, throttle response is outstanding now...

Thanks Wingate...The throttle response would def be great to have....I plan on keeping this one for a while so I think the initial cost of the module will eventually pay for itself...I tend to drive on the conservative side for the most part, but having a little extra when passing and pulling the boat would be nice for sure..

And your question was answered on the second page. Quite a difference from 54 pages with no answer on another forum.

You had an opportunity to inform and perhaps teach all of the people that never post on here but read in order to learn. Like what is a "Stryker, why do you want one, what kind of tire upgrade costs 4 mpg, etc....

We as a collective group have solved many problems for many people for the cost of an annual subscription. This is the best CTD forum on the web.

Attitude was not called for. Why would you want to define yourself in this manner just starting out with 26 posts??? It makes no sense to me.

So you can either join us as a group and be polite or make it so that if you were on fire nobody would **** on you to put it out. Your choice.

I hope you choose the first option.
