Well I finally decided to change the sensor after about three months of torturous driving. Went to try and pull the sensor, and no suprise, it doesn't budge. I set a 1/4" lag bolt into the sensor, and rigged up a puller with some 1 1/2" x 1/4" plate. So this puller is now bent and I am out of ideas on how to pull this sensor from my block. My next thought is heating up that plastic sensor a bit and see if it comes out that way, if anyone has a better suggestion it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tom

Ya got the 10mm headed bolt out, right? Usually we soak them in PB blaster for a few minutes, get ahold of it with a pair of channel locks, works the sensor around so it can spin in it's bore, then with a death grip with the channel locks, pry out on the pliers with a pry bar or big screwdriver.

Yeah, I'll try that next weekend. I am stuck driving a little S10 around for this week until I can get back to the truck. The bolt is off, this sensor just seems to have a death grip on the block and doesn't want to let go. Just gonna have to put some more elbow grease into it. Either that or my c channel fabbed puller better not bend.

Those o-rings build up a nice layer of rust usually, spinning it around should help ya out a bunch.
