Stuck exhaust housing

Changing over to the 16 from the 18. 5, can't seperate the dang thing. My first '93 wasn't all that hard compared to this one, any ideas? No press available right now either.

well here is what i would do get yourself a propane torch and get the housing nice and hot and start spraying it with Kroil and then let it sit and cool put the torch on it again and eventually it will come lose working it back and forth also will help also

Why didn't I think of that, a torch... cool !!! I'll check back in shortly if i don't burn the place down !!

Use the housing clamp bolts as jacking bolts... ..... just be sure to leave enough threads engaged to prevent any damage

Torch worked!!

but now I'm afraid I have some more work in front of me... ... damn thing doesn't smoke like it used to, time for more fuel screw adjustments !! :-laf Truck actually moves now at hiway speeds when I nail it... just a litle haze of smoke, left lots behind with the bigger housing on it.
