Competition Pistons and Rods - Anyone have solid model files?

Competition Mad ECM / TST Dyno #s

That is priceless!! Funny! and a wake up for that owner that the H2 is a POS.

I have always said, always, when the Hummer went to IFS and shorter, ans skinnier, I knew they ruined a great 4X4. The reason is price, women wanted to have one, and economics.....

A H1 would'nt have gotten stuck at all.

A H2 is basically a full sized blazer. nothing more.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS *HERE'S YOUR SIGN*

I would also bet that the driver of that H2 probably doesn't even know where or how to check his oil, anyone wanna take that bet :-laf

the H1 had portal style drop boxes @ the hub so the diff. was tucked up high in the chassis. The H2 uses the drivetrain from a tahoe (solid rear axle) so there is a massive difference in ground clearance.

I understand that, but it's still independent at all four corners...

I never said that they weren't I have driven the mil spec one and it was unstoppable just gutless but it was designed to be offroad where the H2 is a grocery getter compared to it and some people just don't understand that.

ditto that... perfectly stated... :D

I'm a member of a 4x4 club, we get pretty extreme, mostly rock crawling and hardcore trail riding, not much mud (it's boring)... I'll have my Jeep on a trailer behind the dodge towing it to the trails... someone will start a conversation and I can tell right away if they know what there talking about or there one of the many misinformed... some of the comments like "you guys ever wheel with Hummers, there unstoppable... "... I just laugh and get my photo album out... there all pictures of our most hardcore trail rigs on some of the nastiest terrain in the area... nothing that a hummer or hummvee could even start to do...

the Hummer H1 will Never work for rock crawling, they are too big, heavy, and inflexible to work on the rocks. They were built to haul 4 people and their gear thru swamps and the "sandbox"

overpriced-glorified-Yukon that's what i keep telling everyone! to think, they actually pay more for those things than one would for a fully loaded 3500 4x4 that can out tow, out haul and out MPG them.

Same here. The H1 club guys show up at our local wheeling park (the Badlands) once in a while. They usually seem to leave the park feeling less impressed with their rig. Worse yet, it may have needed some help from a "lesser" 4WD. I sure hope Hummers serve their purpose well for our boys in the military because I've not been impressed with their off road capability. To each his own.

Back in the late 70's, me and some of my HS buddies had some of the baddest mud Jeeps around. Used to love the folks that showed up saying how their rigs could never get stuck. "Follow me!" Almost got us killed one night.

On the IFS thing, I knew that, duh, The H2 uses Tortion bars, the H1 uses coils... I just meant to say that with the different suspension system, the lower setting, Being skinnier, and such, they messed it up badly... . A Blazer or Tahoe chassis with a Hummer body... .

The H1 is not very flexy for hardcore rock crawling, but they do better than the H2 I bet. There is a Hummer group in Moab that does the trails... . all are H1's ... The tortion bars make for a better ride on the road... thats it...

My favorite bumper sticker was on a H1. It was next to the big tow ring on the bumper and read "Attach Stuck Hummer 2 Here!". :-laf
