Thanks. I've cleaned the battery wires, but never heard of cleaning other ground wires.*

How many are there?

The battery clamps don't get super tight. I can still twist them around a bit once they're as tight as they go. Maybe I need to grind out some*Lead so they have room to really clamp down tightly?

Would I get this 2509 error from a battery discharge event?

I am used to driving the 03 where the button does OD lockout. *I hadn't realized I was still supposed to be able access OD while in Tow Haul, but I actually prefer it this way for the most part. *It would be good if it you could control both, but I dont think I'd do the flash.

If I press tow haul while in OD, it sometimes tries to shift into 2nd, which is not so bueno. Actually it usually does this I think. *I try to always engage tow haul, but sometimes I forget until I'm u to speed.

Can anyone recommend a good shop i(not the dealer) n Boulder/ Denver to look at this issue?

Thanks,

Battery connections should be tight. There should be NO movement at all. IMO you have a bad &/or floating connection. First, fix the main connections to the battery & check battery cables for corrosion @ connector. Then trace back all + & - cables to engine and disconnect & clean all connectors & attachment points. Here is a link where you can purchase the required items if needed.*http://www.fostertruck.com/wiring-electrical.html
If you do replace the battery cable terminals, I suggest that you use the military style leaded ones, then the cables can be remove without undoing the main securing bolt every time.

Thanks. Any reason to outright replace the cable ends vs relief cutting some space so they can cinch up properly?

Seems like a real PIA to replace vs grinding out a relief cut.*

You can relief cut them and that will solve the problem with the tightness of the clamps. A bigger problem usually shows in the cables under the sheath with corrosion. By using the marine lugs you have to cut off every end and put a terminal on it, that allows you to check for corrosion that is not visible. Passenger side ground cable, drive side hot cable, and the cross over cable are the usual culprits, but, you need to check the ECM power supply and grounds also for potential issues and replace them if you find corrosion inside.
