Archived Stuck in MN

Front axle is locking in intermittently - any one have this problem??? relates to roughness of the road. Appears the front axle is locked in by vaccum? the vacum solinoid wiggles very easily.

Can't get back on the road till I figure this out with the storm.

What yr truck do you have ?

2001 fairly stock. Just has the front wheel bearing replaced - new problem since then.

okay, found my answer - just had to hit the right words on the search

And the answer was.....

one of those little plastic fittings was broken... ... .



The hoping in and out was do to no vacume on either side of the vacuum solinoid.
