we finally got some snow here(1 foot). i finally got to see how the truck would drive in the snow with the current setup. i can say this thing gets away from you pretty quick. i had to pull a few trucks out that were buried in the snow. the one in the picture is my bosses ford ranger. i had to post the picture because he was talking bad about my truck. about 1 hour before he got stuck he was saying what a piece of junk my truck was and that if i needed help out of my spot dont ask him. 2 other trucks tried to pull him out first. i brought my truck over and pulled all three out no problem at all. i just thought this was a little funny.

Good Job! I love putting people in their place that way. Now you have something to hold over his head next time he talks trash!

I had a similar situation with a the guys at work. Another guy (that didn't give me *****) needed some sand hauled to his house. I told him no problem... what time do you want me there. I show up, and we go for the sand. On the way he says it's more than his little 1/2 ton Chev can handle. No problem. I've got a 1ton Dually. So we get there, order up the sand, and get the guy with the bobcat. He says "How much?" "2 Yards of that sand there. " "How much?" "2 yards" "You gonna make 2 trips?" Now I scratch my head and figure... how much can 2 yards be ( not a construction guy) "I'll take all of it. " I say. "Uhh... OK" The bobcat dood says. And proceedes to load my truck. I have found out that an 8 foot bed, full to the bedrails with sand... . is 2 yards. This was wet sand as it had rained the night before. The guy runnin the bobcat said it was about 7-8,000lbs. Hauled it no problem. I haven't gotten any greif since!

Rangers go through some snow... but they are to light. They tend to float on top. We are heavy enough, we find the bottom and dig in. I've pushed snow with my front bumper like it wasn't even there.

Reminds me of when I had to rescue my son and nephew last year. We had a lot of snow that didnt go away all winter so it piled up. They took my nephew's little suzuki samuari through the drive in movie theatre parking lot and got stuck all the way in the back. I drove back to get them, pushing snow with the front bumper all the way. How they got in that far is beyond me. I turned around back there and hooked up. My nephew says "dont stop once we get moving"... ... as though I never done this before. I chuckled when I got in the cab and told my son, oh dont worry were not stopping. ;) I eased into it, and never even new that little rice burner was back there, and drug him backwards across the drive in parking lot at 40 mph all the way to the main highway. You couldn't even see him back there for all the snow flying. He hasn't called and got me out of bed again for a tow. LOL

my boss and some other people have said nothing to me. they just give me a wierd look. i have talked to a friend of mine here on duty with me and he told me that my truck amazed some people here. everyone thought i would get stuck for sure. merry christmas to everyone. its almost over but i hope everyones christmas was good.

After you pulled that rollar skate you should've hooked up to that freighter and showed them what it can really do! I want to drive one of those things. Oo.
