Hey guys, doing a rear brake job and can't get the rim off. Tried everything I know, any ideas? Brake pads down to metal need to get it done today. Thanks!

Haven't done it personally, but I've heard that if you back off the lug nuts one turn, then go for a quick back and forth in the driveway, that should break the rim loose.

Sledge hammer on the tire usually works for me. I've had to hit a few pretty hard so don't be afraid of it. A little anti-seize on the hub and around the lugs will keep that from occurring again in the future. Don't try to drive them off from the inside, hit them from the outside in.

wow

Had to get the 20lber out but that did it!!! Thanks guys, the sledge I was using was just a 2lber needed to go big. I use CAT anti seeze between the rim and hub but since I launch my boat in salt water it just gets corroded. anyway it worked thank you for the suggestions.
