I posted this at the end of the "how to get to 500-550" thread. I think I will post it here for more views.

I have a question.

I have the EZ (set on 4) DD HX-40, AFE intake, Straight 4" exhaust, FASS, TST, and Luk clutch.

So far I am unable to get over 430 hp. That was on TST 4x5 EZ 4. Any higher on the TST made less power. Am I running out of fuel in the rail? Why at 430 on my truck... and over 500 on others?

What is stopping me from going over 430???

It has to be a lack of either fuel or air. I would look at the egt's and see if they are going up in proportion to the amount you are turning up the TST box.

If the egt's are going up then I would say you have a lack of air.

If the egt's are staying about the same then it is a lack of fuel.

This is my take on this, take it for what it's worth. :)

With the EZ set on Level 6 just after the HX-40 install, but before the FASS I made 340 on BD's dyno.

I have stock injectors.

I think it is important to have the TST plugged in first and then the EZ on top. Something you may want to double check.

I have tried each way. Not sure what way works better yet. Power curve is much smother with the EZ first. More low end. With the TST first I have a big power surge at 2k rpm.

Anyone know what is changed on each setting on the TST? Like what timing goes to on level 5x5 vs level 3x5 or 7x7? Or % added duration on each level?
