studder in power, please help

he guys, 1st post here. I am having a problem with my truck. when I get on the throttle, my truck will stumble at around 2800 rpm,,, just for a sec. then it will return... I have pulled the code p-0251, ( Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control “A” (Cam/rotor/Injector)) what does this code mean??? I have tried to take my edge ez off and I still get the stutter. anyone else have a problem like this? any help? thanks for your help guys

Lack of fuel perhaps??



If it were me I would change the fuel filter and go from there.

changed the fuel filter about 2000 miles ago, that didnt seem to help,,,, I just checked the code again and my scanner didnt show them this time. sooo, now what, I also ran by my local dealership and the diesel tech did seem to know anything. I am at a loss with this one. well, anyone else want to take a stab at this one?

I hope your situation is different, but I got that exact code intermitently before major problems (2 valves, injection pump twice, and 3 injectors). All started about 4000 miles. Its currently in the lemon law process. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.
