Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) studs and no fire rings ?

what will the stock head gasket take with just headstuds ?

Rod we have been running a 24V with stock headbolts 50-55 psi the last two summers.

If you are going to take it apart do o-rings. Better to do them now then have to take it back apart and do them later. They are 300-400 bucks depending where you go and well worth the money IMO. When I did my head I was debating just doing studs and a new headgasket because I didn't have the extra money to do the o-rings as well, but I did them anyways.

I hear ya Dan but I just popped mine on my tow rig with just a JR cheater 35 . so I have a set of leftover studs so i will us them but didn't want to ring it since it will never see more than a htt62.
