Studs on the front?

Anybody ever run studs on the front and the rear?

How much do studded fronts cut down on our (nominal) brakeing?

Most pick ups and cars have studs on all tires up here

Even 2 wheel drive units. They improve the braking and steering capabilities in slick conditions.

DO NOT put on studs on front tires only.

You WILL go round and round.

I have run them front and rear on my last 3 trucks and they work well. I run a set of coarse grips without sipes and they would be useless without the nails on ice. In deep snow the grips are a must but the trade off is the ice factor the nails even it out again.
