I can not find the TDR mag that discusses this because we are in the process of moving. Any way I think it said map sensor, but my dealer look at me with a blank look and said that diesel don't have MAP sensors. Does anyone have the part number to make my life a little easier.

A picture of where it goes and what to torque it at would be just perfect.

Thank

Chris

I am also not tripping any codes.

Are you saying that diesels don't have MAP sensors or that diesels don't produce manifold vacuum. I'll agree with the latter, but not the former.

It is not the MAF! Unless the good people at TDR miss typed it.

Doing some research, diesel do have a map sensor.

MAP= Manifold Air Pressure sensor. I went to work and asked our mechanic(fire engines) to give me a hand. Have it right in front of me. Now I just need that darn part number.

HDarga is this for the MAP or MAF

thanks guys
