its ok, when those pulls dont want you to trailer it... stop 5 miles from the track/fairground etc, unload it and drive it in... have you tow rig park the trailer somewhere in the pits or parking area that way you still have it near by!
not saying its a dumb rule, but is it common for tech rules to require 2- 3/8" bolts in a cross pattern in the downpipe just behind the turbo?

This is becoming quite common.
Turbo parts need something to slow them down when they leave home.
Personally I think the turbo's need to have a blanket wrapped around them, one similar to the type they use on blowers in the NHRA. Also, all the automatics and clutches need some form of safety blanket. That 2-bolts in the exhaust pipe is stupid, they always chew the pipe up and escape the system.

I shot my turbine out of my exhaust and it went into the woods,Good thing my exhaust didnt exit in the factory location, someone would have got hurt

My personal favorite for the modified classes around here..... Any aftermarket turbo is legal,no adapter plates and No Roller Ball Turbos... WTF???.

If you have a turbo wheel exit the exhaust pipe under the hood, then it means the crossbolts did their job.
TRUST US, TURBO WHEELS COME OUT YOUR EXHAUST LIKE A MISSILE. GET YOUR CROSSBOLTS IN.
Yeah these two have got me a little concerned about the upcoming big event in the KY. Along with not requiring, only recommending driveshaft/u-joint loops and other saftey equipment
