Here are some pics of what the door looks like now...
It is still wrinkled... Insurance estimated the original damage at around $750. Wrote me a started check for the difference between that and the deductible. I may just take their money and run.
My fiancee just informed me that I will have the truck for " at least " five more years. I think she thinks she is getting a new one soon. Since she holds the keys to the magic kingdom, she just might.

tough choice. I had something similar done to a car I owned once, and I had the doors fixed, then the paint never matched again.

I installed Jimmy Jammers on my 06. Took about an hour to do all four doors. Put the stickers on the windows hoping they may move on before they trash the lock. Nothing will stop them if they want in bad enough. All I can hope for is they move on to an easier target. Now, the sound of a round being chambered in any gun... . that's an effective deterrent.
