Seems like it would be possible with a lot of weight in the front of the bed, and some serious rear tires, I know it would be impossible to pull like a 4wd, but with good weight transfer and traction seems like it could be fun.
I pulled mine several times. You can pull light sleds, like pull back sleds. Fun to just see peoples faces "I can't believe he pulled that far!".
I then got humbled. every sled I had hooked to before had been light 50,000 lbs or less, usually pulled a 36,000 lber. I hooked to www.hillsled.com (weigh in about 76,000) and got humbled quick. My daddy called me "hole digger" all night. I dug two holes about 6' deep after I couldn't move it, got agrivated and stomped it! Smoked the tires, dug two holes, unhooked, tucked my tail and went back to the sidelines. Haven't hooked again since!
Small sled, hook'r up.
Heavy sled, stay on the sidelines.
If you don't know, hook it and donate your hook fee to the pot! You'll learn the weight in about 2 seconds!
