Stupid Question

For those of you who had a DTT transmission built by bill did it come already with a filter in it? I know it sounds stupid but it would suck if I didnt ask and installed it and it didnt have one. And also does he install the smart controller and the torque saver on his trannys or do you have to pay extra for them options to get them installed?

If im not mistaken it comes with the filter and the TC saver and SC are extra options I think, but verify.



How does your Auto sound Straight piped? I have been kicking it around for about a year now and cant decide. I really do like my flomaster, but I like the sound of straight pipe on manuals.

Off the subject a little.. but

Sky,... U said U have a 4in flowmaster???? what pipe are U running... I am using the 3in flowmaster. . the muffer is only about 9ins long. . It sounds very close to an open system. . Just curious to see what U are running. . Thanks

Bill didn't build my transmission but it a filter came with it, the smart controller is an option but highly recommended from Bill. I do the same thing as the smart controller just manually, I down shift to direct and via floor switch unlock the converter when I'm on it unless I'm at 2K or above, you too will get the fell of it after you get the gins off your face.

I dont have the part number of the muffler but the muffler its self is actualy a 4. 5" muffler. I have a 4" madrel bent system that had to be adapted for the 4. 5" inlet and outlet. Its a series 4 muffler (short and flat ones).
