Fuel storage questions

Changed vehicles, Cat forums anywhere?

As far as the barking turbo, didn't they change the turbo wheel in 99 and it caused them to bark more often? I know a 6 liter will bark a turbo on a stock truck.

Its stupid kids like that, fogging out 4 lane roads, and completely fogging out people minding their own business that give diesel owners a bad name. Im all for smoke, but only when it makes power and isnt done in an ignorant manner.

Off subject for a minute, smoke doesn't make power, smoke is unburned or more correctly, partially burned fuel. Smoke is the byproduct of more fuel entering the combustion chamber than can be properly burned, so it is power wasted.

... sounds of me getting of the soapbox...

I completely agree- I dont like smoke of that scale. Smoke doesnt equal power. I have never had a Dodge do that, and I have had some smoky combinations that were embarassing to me. I think any more than a puff on take off and MAYBE a light haze until the turbo spools is a waste and an indication of something being wrong. My computer has no sound, but 60psi is an awful lot for a PSD. Heck, it's a lot for a CTD.
