Valentine Poem for the Wife

About 15 yrs. ago I was going to work on I-35 in KC. There was a car I was gaining on that kept swerving from lane to lane. I backed the 280 Z down till I picked up on the timing, as the car swerved again to the right, I accelerated and passed on the left and looked at the driver and then understood what was going on. This young thing was brushing her teeth and when the tooth brush moved to the left, her stearing hand also moved to the left, that was why the car was swerving all over the road!

I saw an old 60's something cadillac blowing black smoke going like 45 mph in the slow lane... i see this huge figure of something "Fowl" in the backseat. It turned out to be a HUGE turkey. . like a 100 pounder eating something this guy had on his shoulder. It stood up and started flapping it's wings and flooded the highway with huge feathers. . because the windows were down in back! It heard my exhaust on my old truck and started going nuts pecking the upholstrey and gobbling wildly, so much the guy had to swerve to the side of the road and do something. . i was Laughing my arse off i couldn't believe it!

Bigger turkey behind the wheel, no doubt...
Made a mad dash last Friday to Cummins in Louisville to get a new lift pump... while on the interstate, I passed 3 different vehicles, each of which had a driver reading something !!! One was a Kenworth, pulling a trailer, he had a big log book or something balanced on the steering wheel, and was writing in it ! That one really ticked me off. Hope he didn't get nobody killed. I honked at him, and pantomimed putting a book up, and he flipped me off.
Dropped the hammer, got out of there, didn't think it would be smart to mess with him.
Another was a yuppie in a BMW, and he was talking on a cell phone and looking at a folded section of newspaper. I hope all his stock took a big dive that day. #ad

Third one was a mini-skirted hottie in a Corvette, she was reading a book, eating potato chips, and guzzling a Coke... wanted a better look at them legs, but no woman's worth a crashed Cummins, so I got outa there too... she didn't even look up when I dropped the loud pedal !

I am always in such a hurry. Never have time to stop for lunch... . usually eat on the run. I've always wondered how I would look in a rear end accident when the police came up to my dead caurcus and found a Whopper shoved in my face from the airbag.

This Happend on highway 75 going through Tulsa a few years ago. Some guys were moving through traffic and cut off a semi hauling one of those big rolls of steal. Well evidently he did not take kind to bieng cut off and tried to run them down. He as chasing them and holding his ground very well when the steel roll came off the trailer(Them things are HEAVY to... thats why they haul one at a time) The roll caused $25K in damage to the bridge it fell on. Not sure what happened to the other guys. I would imagine the trucker had a Cummins under the hood #ad

About a year ago when driving home from work in the afternoon I saw this person in an Audi or something like that up ahead that had a mattress tied to the roof of the car.
The car was about an 1/8 of a mile up and going only 45 or so in a 55 zone. The mattress was really catchin' some air under the front and so I passed on the right goin' 60mph. Well needless to say I looked out my rearview mirror and this mattress goes flying off the top of this car and people behind it are swerving all over the place trying not to run into this thing. It could have caused a real bad accident!

Beware of those with mattresses tied to the
roofs of their cars!
