well... funny, but i drive a GM and the vehicles in my family are all GM. heck, i even work on GM emd stuff. some of the designs are terrable. the engineer must have had his head up his arse when he put water couplings in such stupid places. .

For the most part, UPS does a good job. If ten people handle your package, and the last one is a dip-stick?



I did not recieve a package. I called UPS. They said it was "delivered by the gate". I live in the sticks on ten acres. The "gate" is 900 feet from my house, and is never closed. It took me two days to find the package, the driver put it under some rocks, about 40 feet from the gate. UPS said it was a relief driver. Two weeks later, same thing.



Now when I order from a vender, I instruct them to write on the package "deliver to door". I have recieved 3 packages since with no problem.

When I got my 4" Jardine from UPS, the box was so damaged, it was barely held together, with about 1000 FEET OF TAPE. This infuriated me. Then a few days before, when my CON OFE was supposed to be here, they came by at 2 PM... . who in the heck is going to be home at 2 PM to receive something that has to be signed?? I had to drive all the way over to the UPS terminal and pick it up myself. that ticked me off too... I am not very happy with them after all this headache... I would sell ya my HX35, but I lost the shaft on FM 1604 here in San Antonio, and have not been able to locate it! In other words, I grenaded my HX35 in September! Oh well, Good Luck bro! Just my . 02 worth.

UPS does pretty good job in the upper midwest. Not a scratch on anything. Last year I ordered some shocks from Central 4 wheel drive. Those num nuts must have only made it past the 3rd grade. They butchered up my address pretty bad. They were on there way to Missouri. My last name was mispelled. Only thing saving my me was the right zip code and street addres.

I ordered a 5th wheel hitch with plenty of time for it to get here, even with the holidays. According to their tracking it arrived in town on the 28th, was loaded on a truck on the 30th (a Monday) and returned to Ups in the truck the same night. Since I was buying through a camping dealer it was to be delivered to a busness. The store called to inquire about the delivery, and theey gave no reason for not delivering that day and said that it would not be delivered the next day, but it would be delivered on the 2nd. (the first was a holiday) Well, we were supposed to leave on the second, so we scrambled around and borrowed a hitch so we could go on our trip. ( Isn't it wonderful to have friends like that!) A week later when we got back I went to pick up our shiny new hitch. The box looked as if it had been thrown from a cliff, it was so misshapen that it was hard to belive that it had ever been square. The end had been busted out and both ends of the box had been extensivly retaped. There was a hole in the side of the box that was still open. Upon opening the box it looked as if some one had been beating my hitch with a hammer. The paint was scratched and chipped and the cover plate was bent and creased in two places and it had over a half dozen dents in it. About half of the assembly and mounting harde ware was missing. The cross piece has a piece of 3/16 inch steel plate (thats pretty heavy duty) welded to each end where it attaches to the up rights, they were both bent. BENT! heavy plate steel! Long story short, I still don't have a hitch. looks like the "tightest ship in the shipping industry" has sprung a few leaks.

I had a motorcylce tire and wheel shiped to me and UPS lost it. Whenever I don't get somthing from them I call and they tell me they woun't help me because I didn't ship it
