Well found out how stupid I was just recently. About 3 months ago I bought a SB DD clutch. About 3 weeks later I had to upgrade the clutch hydraulic assembly seeing as how my clutch wouldn't let go. When I got it I just put it in and it worked, I didn't adjust it. Well fast forward to today and this is what happened to my clutch. Found out that since I didn't adjust the hydraulic assembly to engage the clutch sooner, it was like riding around with my foot on the clutch. Pics are in the show-n-shine gallery.

Here's a link to look at the damage. http://www.thedieselgarage.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=2

The linkage inside the cab is where you make the adjustment. Where it is now is letting it engage too far out in the pedal stroke. I talked to Woody today and he said you want full engagement on the first 1/3 of full pedal stroke, after letting out on the clutch. I'm just glad he told me because the same thing would have happened in a few months.

Back to the Clutch thing now!!!!

I did two 4wheel drive launches and a couple of burnouts with a little over 2500 miles on the clutch. It was where the hydraulic assembley wasn't letting the clutch fully engage, like riding around with your foot on the clutch pedal.
