Sorry for slow replies, I dont own my own computer. Ya I know. Any way a buddy of mine found a site on E-Bay for these. It's a guy in Illinois that makes them. Basically a MDF box upholstered to look like a center section. No one will ever know the difference, STEALTH. I don't know how to link sites to this thread but here is the item number... ... 5711971393. Check it out I think you'll dig these. Top shelf work. Bolts are preinstalled and there are threaded inserts for the folding back rest brackets to bolt to. Hope this helps.

Rlars73,

Thanks for the info. I'm going to send him an email to make sure that they make one for the gen 3's. Sure looks good.

I can't believe those boxes are only $150. The pics are from a 2nd gen, but he claims to be able to fit 2nd and 3rd gen trucks. Let us know what you find out. I'm really interested to know!

Thanks,

Andy

Hey guys I'm back. The box I got from him is in my 03 3500. Was going to build one my self but for $150 why bother? Now let the good tunes roll. If only I could get my truck back from the service department actually fixed!

I've had several different quotes, the JL stealth box was over $500 for a single 10" - No thanks. And a diamond audio in a competition box under the rear seat (I don't have fold flat, just the cubby hole) and I believe it was around 350ish including the sub. A single 8" or dual 8" subs behind the rear seat would be sweet. Room is the biggest thing I miss about my F-350.
