Where is it?????????

posting photos in readers rigs

The threads that I used to post to would always show up in "myVBhome" in UsersCP. Now, even though I post to a couple a day, they no longer show up in my "replies to sub scribed threads".

What happened?

What did I do? I remember removing e-mail notification, but that should not affect whether or not I am subscribed to a thread. Also, the threads that I reply to show a dot on the letter icon, which I assume to mean that I am subscribed.

Have you tried changing the pull-down for how far back in history to show? You might have it set for 1-day, and none of your sub'd threads have had activity within that timeframe.

Seems to work just fine for me, my UserCP now shows this thread for today. Are you sure you have the "Use 'Email Notification'" option set to yes, so that you're subscribed to threads for which you've replied (or checked the little box below text window, while entering a post)?

Well, I unchecked it because I was getting a fair amount of e-mails some times. I did not know that not using the e-mail notification kept them from updating in the users CP.

That's the only way a thread is considered "subscribed" -- email notifications is part of it, being tracked in the UserCP is another -- and there's several ways to be subscribed to a thread.

You can set the option to automagically be subscribed to every post to which you repond (in UserCP -> EditOptions -> Use 'Email Notification' by default?

You can check the "Email Notification" box when you are replying to a thread.

You can click on a link at the bottom of the thread, "Receive updates to this thread. "

To unsubscribe, you have to manually unsubscribe from each thread from within the UserCP -> VBhome menu.

Granted, it's not a very good way to casually watch threads that you're only vaguely interested in.
