For those who want an extra source for their truck info, you might check out this online site, AlldataDIY. While it may not match the $100+ cost for a set of factory books (It costs 24. 95/yr, up from $19. 95 recently), it includes a very comprehensive list of Technical Service Bulletins and Recall Notices, which you can find elsewhere only if you really look. It also has some good general info like safety procedures and troubleshooting hints. The info is updated every quarter, and is formatted to your specific Make/Model/Yr. This isn't a sales pitch (nothing in it for my bank balance), I have a subscription for two of my vehicles and it's been very handy for quick reference. I think that you can also subscribe through the AutoZone website.

as a member of the TDR i would rather...

support one of our own that has been providing the best TSB information since I have been a member and beyond

I should have and have not personally thanked Dave and his Crew for a great website that has saved our butt's several times.

Thank you Dave,

Bob Wagner

I used the Alldata site once and wasn't pleased with the results. Maybe my expectations were too high. Was rebuilding a 4 speed auto out of a Toyota Camry and was looking for one-way clutch and check ball details - neither of which was provided. Got more out of copying Chilton manuals at the local library coupled with a trip to the local transmission shop.

Think the TRD site gives all the info Alldate provides plus more on the Ram/CTD combo. Agree that Alldata may be a good substitute for general info on models that do not have the luxury of a dedicated site like this. Alldata's technical info does not go beyond a Chilton/Motor manual.

Echo Bob's comments about Dave and his efforts.

You are correctamundo!!

I wasn't aware of the dodgeram.org site.

Dave's site combined with my factory books, and enhanced by the TDR site pretty much blows the Alldata product out of the water! Thanks for the info.
