Subscription status link

Clicking on the subscription status brings me to my "personal details" page where I cannot find any information about my subscription status. Am I missing it or is the link defective?


Now that the forum changes seem to be settling down somewhat, is it time for the wish lists?

1. allow avatar blocking like the old site had (this is especially important if the site allows or ever will allow those distracting animated moving avatars)

2. Being able to block the "xxx likes this" garbage. Posts in the political section are like watching a bunch of children egging each other on in a schoolyard fight.

3. Email notifications with the post text included (like the old days)

4. PM, err, "conversation" email notifications with the message text included (like the old, old days)

5. Being able to edit our own posts for more than 24 hours.

Not the same. I read many of the political threads, though I'm getting more fed up with the seeming increase in attacking the messenger rather than debating the message. #2 is the requesting the ability to block the XXX likes this that appears at the bottom of a post. For example I've liked your post (first and last time I'll use that useless feature).

I see that now, yeah carryover from the other sorts of social media posting sites. At least its just a like option for now. Have not used that before.

Yep. A social media gimmick to suck people in and encourage them to participate more. In the political forum it is used to encourage more bad behavior, at least that is how I see it. If some people like it thats great, but I'd prefer to be able to not see it, if possible.

Timd32, when you click on the "Subscription Status" link on the left side of the screen (under the image of the TDR magazine) does it give you your subscription status or does it send you to your "Personal Details" page? Thanks.

Same > Personal Details, I seem to remember it was on the sticker of the Magazine a while back, but I dont save the plastic.

Personal details page if you scroll down has your current issue, status, etc. Some users might see those empty, I'm working on a bug fix in our status updater.
