My truck had the voltage flucuation also. Makes the engine hunt at an idle. There is a fix.



You need to install a relay. Instead of the key switch sending power to the regulator you have the relay send power to the regulator. The key switch will activate the relay. Use 14G wire for a good conductivity. If you need a schematic I can draw one up and email it to you. Also make sure you have really good grounds. I have the engine grounded to the frame in two places. The I have the body grounded to the frame. Also run a ground wire to one of the mounting screws on the regulator.

send fused battery voltage via realy to regualtor.

Finally! A fix! My Burb has been winking at me for over a year!

same thing I had to do, to much voltage loss through the ign. switch etc. I guess. Bob
