Trucks been running fine. Suddenly it's cranking longer to start, even after it's warmed up. Runs fine after it's running... ready for a long trip and don't want any issues before leaving, anyone?

Need more info, year, engine etc. If 03 and up there are a lot of threads on this. In my case and a lot of others it is leaking crossover tubes and/or leaking injector(s). . If this is the case you will want to fix before leaving as it can lead to a no start situation.

if it is a 1994-1998, it is most likely the fuel return line up under the intake manifold, back down to the firewall. I am replacing that line on a friend's truck, probably this weekend. I have found that 8mm transmission line works awesome. I use the kind used on a Nissan forklift. I have had to do this fix on several 12 valve engines and on a friend's 8. 3

Problem is the line cracks and allows air to enter. When the engine is off, it siphons the fuel out of the line and back through the fuel filter. To test, push the primer button about a dozen times and see if it cranks easier.
