I have a 2006 RAM 2500 CTD and will be moving in about 8 weeks to N. Arizona from California. Can anyone suggest a good mechanic/repair shop in the Phoenix area that can handle Cummins 5. 9 CR and 48RE transmissions? No matter who it is, I will have a minimum drive of 80 miles to get there, so the area of the valley is not important, though I will be coming into the area via US 60 from Wickenburg.

Thanks for the help!:)

Ditto. I haven't seen Fred in a few years but I believe he still has a "day job", working on our Dodge's is a sideline but I was/am very happy with his work on my truck.

Just saw him a few weeks ago. First time in 10 years. Like all of us he has aged some :-laf

Be careful about getting fuel in Wickenburg during a rain storm. I don't remember which station it was, but it killed my brand new rental car about 10 minutes down the road after filling up.

If you don't mind driving a little further, Theres Kent's Diesel Works in mesa... . 480-844-9591 Or Bartlin Enterprises in Queen Creek. 480-895-0545 I have had work done at both shops and are both very good. Bartlin has a dyno if your doing performance up grades and both shops are swamped all the time. I usually do my own work on everything , and I'm very picky about who works on my trucks . The couple of times I had to get someone else to do some work for me , these guys do excellent work.
