Suggested Horsepower Gains?

I have an '01 ETH and was just wondering what I need to use for more power. You can see in the sig what else I have, and I can fight the addiction anymore. I was looking at PowerMax 3 with PE EZ, with propane. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You might want to look into a JVD Torque Enhancer. I love mine, alot better fuel mileage. Along with injectors it likes to smoke out the people behind me. E-mail me, if you would like some more info. It seems to me like you've gotten a pretty good start with the power upgrades. Good Luck!

BLKDEMON, I tried a PE EZ on a ETH equipped identical to yours (DD3's,HX 40, 4" exhaust, K&N). It was a kick in the pants but did produce a lot of smoke. It may smoke less if the box is adjusted to the low fuel setting. I'm going to hold off for now and see how DD's new pump mod pans out. Also I noticed that PE is coming out with a new box in the near future. I'm happy with what I got right now.

Call PE they can custom program an EZ so it will not over fuel at low boost and smoke any more than your DD3's do now, the VA or JVD will smoke like a locomotive with your injectors.
I just ordered one( EZ ) for my near future DD2's. They are programing it for less fuel at low boost so it won't smoke.

Go for the PE EZ and the Pro PE. The Pro PE is the finest and best engineered propane system on the market matched to the PE.

JNUTTER. . I have the EZ BOX and the programming that you may be talking about is Field adjustable you just open the end cover (two screws) and move the little connector over to the third setting!. . What this does is DELAY fueling until a Higher boost reading. . It cuts the smoke from my 275's almost completely... .

Kwikkurt, you are on the money when you point out that the EZ can be adjusted in the field.

BLKDEMON, you need to know that you cannot add much power without exceeding the capability of the clutch. The ETH clutch seems to be rather frail for such an otherwise worthy and sturdy vehicle.

Let me add to HVAC's caution that the stock egt for the ETH cn get up to 1200-1250 deg. With a safe max of 1300, that doesn't leave much room for improvements. A set of Bosch RV injectors seems safe and as I posted several months ago adds 42 hp. Much more bombing than that could get you into trouble if you don't go to a larger exhaust turbo housing, etc.

As JD stated the EGT's run high on the Mighty ETH. . When I added the 275's my EGT's went up "KWIKER" and atleast 100 deg higher then I installed the PEEZ box and although MY EGT's and Boost climb fast #ad
the Max EGT has decreased 50 to 100 deg below stock. Probably from the increased Boost pressure #ad


and I must add my clutch SMOKES MORE #ad
