Toyo tire failure...(Bad)!

Max Brake wire problem.

O.K. Found a deal where I can get an 18K lbs. B&W Patriot Slider for $749 total and the standard Reese 10 bolt rail kit for $118 for a total of $867. 18K is overkill for my rig wich rated for a 14K max trailer, but I would rather have a little extra in the hitch. Thoughts?

That is the hitch I got for the same price. Go for it. Snoking

Think I will SNOKING. The frame and hardware are Reese, but the itch is the Patriot. I think I will be good with that. :)

How far back does it slide? When I bought my Reese there were two options with two inch difference in the slide distance. I think mine is 10 inches.

Sounds good, I only brought it up in case you needed the extra space so you will clear the cab. While traveling over the summer, I spoke to a woman that was curious about my slide hitch and the sidewinder pinbox. She said her husband had shattered the back window of their 3rd gen truck when the fifth wheel hit the cab.

Made an offer on a used 5th wheel toy hauler at Camping World. They are having it shipped to their Flagstaff (Bellemont) shop from their Anthony TX shop. They're not charging me for the transport and are giving me an 18k B&W Patriot slider, installed, for $500.
The trailer is a 2011 Heartland Cyclone. We're buying it "sight unseen", except for pictures we've seen online. Trusting in the reputation of Camping World.

Looks very nice. The only thing that I might add is that before it gets shipped, maybe you should have an independent inspection done at your expense just to make sure that there are no hidden surprises. Good Luck and enjoy!

I plan on giving it a very thorough inspection before I sign anything. If there are any problems, I will make them fix it or walk away.

A Mega cab short bed is the same length as a crew cab short bed. I know because I have owned 2 of them ,you can get a shorter bed called Ram box I have never seen one on a mega cab

I can tell you a good hitch makes all the difference in the world. The hitch I now have is my 4th hitch. I had bought a hitch is a hitch, so I had bought the cheapest thing I could that was rated to carry the load. I'm sure there are several high quality hitches. What I have now is the B&W Companion, and I can't believe the difference.

The best hitch in my opinion are air hitches. your trl floats and it tows great. They are also made in America. They are expensive but worth it . You may be able to pick up a used one on line. A Hensly BD3 Is what I have and never regretted it.
