Sulastic rearspring shackles

I read about them in the latest isue of diesel power. I HAVE A 97 3500 drw and it rides to rough for my wife. They have a project truck that they put a set on the rear springs ( back hangers) . Supposed to ride a lot beter when empty. Anybody know anything about this set up? Bob Aller

Ouch! I just went to their site $349. 00 for shackles ? ? ? I'd stick with the stock stuff and throw 4-500 pounds in the back when the wife goes along.

This isn't about the shackles you are considering, but years ago I installed some BF Goodrich Velvet Ride shackles on my 2000 model year truck. They did improve the ride a small amount, but not enough to warrant the trouble to install them. In 2000 I paid $160 for the pair. If someone gave me a pair today I wouldn't install them; it was too much trouble for not enough ride improvement.
