:)Well let me start by saying thank you for the invitation, :-laf but it looks like you need all of us out of state folks to cover for the lack of particiaption right there at home. I will definetley do my best to be there for the festivitys Oo. , just give me some times and places that I should be. Couple contacts with some #'s would be appreciated. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you Friday- Saturday?

No way can I get away early enough from the shop to make Hooters, but I do still plan on going to the pull in Mackville just 3 miles north of Appleton. Going to be a long day, 290 miles each way... ... ... ... . looking for a rider, driver etc... ... . lol.

You can stay the night at the house if ya want. Might make a little easier on y'all.

I'll be there in the Jetta oil burner after a morning at work down the street.

Are they going to let diesel trucks pull? I asked last year (?) and was told "No diesels".

Only diesel trucks that are allowed to pull are the mod diesels, such as the Schied truck, Haisley's, Brads... . etc.

Although I had a blast, the event was very well put together and a lot to do there, as well as keeping the crowd entertained. Travis, as always it was great to see you, and nice to meet your wife, now get rid of the Mini and get a truck... ... ... ... I still can not believe them words came out of your mouth, "we bought a mini van instead of a truck". Just giving ya crap, nice too see ya again... ..... so until next time, later dudes.

Thanks again for arranging this Paul. Had a great time! Too bad we missed Fireman Dave, John RV4, Driveby Bob, etc. Anyone yet let John RV4 know where the next meet will be at?? :-laf:-laf

Sorry Mike I missed your PM. Hopefully next time we can convoy together.

The third pic is a '47 Dodge I spotted for sale in Stevens Point. I like this "old girl. ":-laf In the last pic, I passed the "Wienermobile" on 94. Jenny snapped that pic with my cell.

Hey Eric, my schedule is pretty open, unless I get forced to work on Saturdays :-( . What did you have planned? The building is ready for some work. I've got just about everything done to it except for some storage cabinets on the walls.

Well, in your absents we decided to have a wrench day. At your place. :D We should probably start another thread to get an idea of when it will work out for everyone. Hopefully the "locals" will out number the "out of towners" by a larger number this time.

Seriously, it was good to see old friends and make some new ones.

As for timing, what works for you John?

I'm ready for a wrench day. The new building is much better than the old garage. We'll have to see what will work for everybody. I'm not going anywhere until Scheid's and then in September I'm going on vacation(also the last weekend in July for the Oshkosh fly-in). So, all we have to do is narrow it down to a date that will work for everybody.

Sounds like I missed out on this one - crap.

My Grandmother on Dad's side had a stroke back on the 12th - so I flew out to MA to be with the family. I was there for a week and she had good days and bad - but I'm really glad I made the trip to say goodbye. She passed away two days after I arrived back in WI. She was 91 and lived a very healthy and 100% independant life up until the stroke. She will be missed by many.

Beers,

Matt

First I would like to say how much I really enjoyed the meeting and everyone there. Thanks, and lets do it again soon.

Second I would like to apologize for not posting info. about the meeting as promised.

Somehow I managed to misplace (lose?) my notes. I was camping at the time and when I got home a few days later they were gone.

I was hoping they might turn up in a few days, but no luck.

I'll be looking forward to seeing you guys at upcoming meetings / events this summer. ( I'll be camping at the Oshkosh Air Show the last week of this month. )

Thanks again,Ray
