It's already summer down here! It is supposed to cool down a few days next week.

The unusual hot weather and the dang wind is messing up the strawberry crop. Plus it is supposed to rain tomorrow. They already have more water in them then they need. Oh well the life of the produce business.

Ya we have a few parcels left some that are quite nice at about 900k for 100 acres and then some at 40 to 50 thousand for 10 acres. SIL just picked up 5 acres with a well/septic/elect. her drive and ours will meet at the main hwy. Guess its time to pull out the tool belt and dust off the hammer and saw.

I do miss CA strawberries they are the best. I would think that FL has some dandy ones also. Dont have much of a growing season for Vegies up here and the wildlife would decimate it in no time. We do miss them

Just extremely jealous of where you live. DW will not move to MT or anywhere out west since the grand kids are here. Can't blame her I would miss them too.

Did you obtain the proper permit to cross the creek? How much did the environmental impact report cost? Was the local community in support of you crossing the creek? How many berry beetle bushes did you have to plant to subdue the erosion caused by the mules... ... ... ... .....

JH you ask to many GOOD questions :-laf I tell the gang not to PEE in the water. AT times in the rain season this little creek becomes a RAGING TORREANT and requires another 3 hours in the saddle to get around. The Forest Serv. Sets the amount of pack animals that can be on a string. BIL has the ability to set a string to big for me. But im limited to 7 on string + riding stock. COST ? :-laf THIS AINT CALIFORNIA :-laf WE MONTANA FOLK GET TO USE OUR RESOURSES Just dont get caught doing something stupid BECAUSE YOU WILL PAY BIG TIME FOR IT
