One simple cure for your problem may be to perform the fogs-on-with-high beams modification shown at the bottom of this page: http://dodgeram.org/tech/mods/electric/headlight.htm

The modification is identical for second-generation Rams model years 1999-2002. The fog lamp relay does not turn on the fog lamps. It functions as an interlock, allowing fog lamp operation with low beams and preventing fog lamp operation with high beams. By replacing the switch in the relay with a jumper you will allow fog lamps with both low and high beams. By removing the fog lamp relay you will eliminate the path through the relay coil that is likely the source of your problem.

Thanks for that link Thomas. I knew I had seen that in the past but I could not remember where. Looks like a good lunch time project.

EDIT 12:10PM Well that fixed it! No more Hi beams with the fogs unless I want them both on at the same time. Now this truck works like my other one.

Thanks again Thomas.

When I installed the Summit Harness the first thing that happened was I blew the low beam filiments on my Sylvania Brightstars. I guess they couldn't handle the increased voltage. So I put the factory lights back in and now they are great. I pulled the fog light relay and put a jumper in so I have fog lights with my high and low beams. Now I am going to wire the low beam lights into an ignition on circuit so my low beams are on anytime my key is on and that way I will also have low and high beams on at the same time. Any one think it will work "I do"
