I had a Sun Coast Transmission put in a about a year and a half ago and need to change the filter and fluid. Their receipt shows Dextron/Mercon as the fluid, and of course the book call's for ATF+3. I read a bunch of threads on transmission fluids and what to replace AFT+3 with and I'm more confused now then ever. I E-mailed Sun Coast and haven't got a responce.
Has anybody replaced the fluid in their Sun Coast 47RE and can let me know what type of fluid should go in her. For the cost of the transmission I want to make sure the correct fluid is in it. Many thanks
